Medicare Part D: Creditable Coverage Changes in 2025
September 2024
As Medicare Part D coverage expands in 2025 as required under the Inflation Reduction Act, it could impact the creditable status of employer-sponsored prescription drug coverage.
Employers sponsoring prescription drug coverage are required to determine whether the prescription drug coverage is creditable and then must communicate creditable or non-creditable coverage status annually to eligible employees, their family members, and to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
During this webinar, attendees will learn:
- Why creditable status matters for prescription drug coverage
- How employers can determine and communicate creditable status
- How Medicare eligibility and enrollment may impact employer-sponsored benefits
